Workshop on Results Analysis Successfully Concluded

The Quality Assurance Cell of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences successfully organized a workshop on Results Analysis on 24th September 2025, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., at the Faculty Boardroom, Sumangala Building. The session was designed for the academic staff of the Faculty and aimed at strengthening skills in analyzing and interpreting academic results for continuous quality enhancement.

The workshop was conducted by Mr. C. L. K. Nawarathna, Head of the Department of Social Statistics, and Dr. Hemantha P. Dinugala, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Statistics, who shared their expertise and practical insights on effective approaches to results analysis.

The event was graced by the Acting Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Gamini Weerasinghe, who highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering a culture of academic excellence. He also extended his appreciation to the resource persons for their valuable contribution.

The active participation of the academic staff of the Faculty made the session highly engaging and productive, marking the workshop as a significant step in the Faculty’s ongoing efforts toward quality assurance and academic development.
