18th International Conference on Pali and Buddhist Studies (ICPBS 2025)

The International Conference on Pali and Buddhist Studies, organized by the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, aims to provide a platform for academicians in Buddhist studies and related disciplines to discuss and exchange ideas on novel research and important issues related to Buddhist studies. The conference aims to foster a forum for scholars to exchange knowledge and interact, preserving Pali and Buddhist Studies’ purity from external trends and interpreting its universal potential for authentic socialization. It also aims to develop an internationally accepted academic culture in the humanities.
The massive response to our research conference dealt with certain areas related to Pali and Buddhist Studies and related subjects including Pali Language and Literature, Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhist Civilization and Culture, Buddhist Psychology and Counseling, Buddhist Education, Buddhist Heritage and Tourism and any other relevant areas on Humanities and Social Sciences.
