Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura strengthens global partnership at RUDN University’s International Student Conference
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (FHSS-USJ) is proud to announce its continued collaboration with RUDN University (Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia) as a key partner in the upcoming 11th International Student’s Scientific Conference “World Economy in the 21st Century: Globalization and Regionalization.” The conference will be held on May 20, 2026, in Moscow, Russia, with options for online participation.
This annual event, organized under RUDN University’s Multilingual Environment Project, brings together young researchers and experts to discuss modern trends in socio-economic development. The sessions and proceedings are conducted in eight languages, including all UN languages (English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, French), plus German and Korean.
The FHSS-USJ is proud to be listed among an elite group of international universities for this conference. Being part of this prestigious network highlights our university’s growing stature in global academic and research circles. This partnership will provide excellent global exposure to our students, allowing them to engage with peers and scholars from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
Dr. Ajantha Kalyanaratne (Coordinator of International Relations – Department of Economics, and member of the International Center for Multidisciplinary Studies) and Mr. Rasika Jayasinghe (Lecturer, Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies) are representing the FHSS-USJ in the Scientific Committee of the conference.
