Department of Geography organized “Indo-Sri Lankan Academic Exchange Programme 2016” which was held on 8th December 2016 from 10.oo am to 4.00 pm in the Department premises.  Sixteen papers were presented by students from India and Sri Indo-Sri Lankan Studies. Students of the Department of Geography conducted an exhibition on Rock and Minerals that they collected from their resident areas. At about 15 samples have been collected and made rock and mineral sample boxes individually by students.
