The 8th International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences, organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, invites researchers from around the world to submit their abstracts for presentation at IRCHSS 2023, to be held in a hybrid format on 16th and 17th March 2023. IRCHSS 2023 will feature a wide range of talks on humanities and social sciences and a symposium on English Language Teaching and Learning.

Vidyodaya Undergraduate Research Day (VURD 2021) organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura under the theme of “Achieving Greatness” focusing on uplifting the skills of the final year undergraduates and provide an exposure to ascertain and share novel knowledge through research related to the fields of humanities and social sciences.
VURD will be held for the 5th time from 14th to 16th December this year, 2021. The conference will stimulate interaction between students and faculty, while encouraging undergraduates to pursue higher degrees through advanced research.
1st National Action Research Conference on Higher Education (NARCHE 2021) organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will be held on 16th September 2021. This conference enables the researchers to present their new advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied learning, teaching and assessment and the participants to critically evaluate and absorb the good practices into their teaching, learning and assessment.

3rd International Conference on Intangible Cultural Heritage organized by the Department of Anthropology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura is one of the very first conference in this field of studies in Sri Lanka. ICICH will be conducted under the theme “Enriching Global Citizens through Traditional Insights” which promotes folklore research among the academia.
