Chinese Spring Festival 2026

Spring Festival 2026 is organized by the Chinese Language Association of the Department of Languages, Cultural Studies and Performing Arts, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The event aims to celebrate the Spring Festival while promoting cultural diversity and strengthening friendship between Sri Lankan and Chinese communities. It also provides a valuable platform for students to showcase their talents in music, dance, and other performances, while enhancing appreciation and understanding of Chinese language and culture. The festival will be held on 4th March at 10.00 a.m. at the Wimaladhamma Auditorium. The program will feature a variety of cultural performances, traditional music and dance, and engaging activities that reflect the vibrant spirit of spring. Spring Festival 2026 promises to be a joyful and meaningful celebration that brings together students and staff in unity and cultural harmony.
