Orientation Programme – 2026
ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ මානවශාස්ත්ර හා සමාජීයවිද්යා පීඨයේ 2024/25 අධ්යයන වර්ෂය 2026 ජනවාරි මස 05 වැනිදා සිට ඇරඹීමට සියලු කටයුතු සංවිධානය කර ඇත.
මෙහිදී පළමු වසරට පැමිණෙන නවක විද්යාර්ථීන් උදෙසා වන නම්නීකරණ වැඩසටහන 2025 දෙසැම්බර් මස 26 වැනිදා සිට 2026 ජනවාරි මස 07 දින දක්වා අදියර දෙකක් යටතේ පැවැත්වේ.
එහි පළමු අදියර 2025 දෙසැම්බර් මස 26 සිට 31 තෙක් මාර්ගගත ක්රමවේදය ඔස්සේ පැවැත්වෙන අතර, මෙහිදී “Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences – Online Orientation 2026” වෙබ් අඩවියට පිවිස විශ්වවිද්යාලය, මානවශාස්ත්ර හා සමාජීයවිද්යා පීඨය, අධ්යයනාංශ, පාඨමාලා සහ වෙනත් තොරතුරු පරීශීලනය කළ හැකිය. මෙම කාල පරිච්ඡේදය තුළ නවක විද්යාර්ථීන්ට අදාළ සියලු නිවේදන සහ මාර්ගෝපදේශ එකී වෙබ් අඩවිය හරහා ලබාදෙන බැවින් එම තොරතුරු හොඳින් පරීශීලනය කළ යුතු බව දැනුම් දෙනු ලැබේ.
නම්නීකරණ වැඩසටහනෙහි දෙවන අදියර, 2026 ජනවාරි මස 01 වැනි දින නිල නම්නීකරණ වැඩසටහන සමග ආරම්භ වන අතර එය විශ්වවිද්යාලයීය පරිශ්රයේ බණ්ඩාරනායක ශාලාවේදී පැවැත්වේ.
එතැන් සිට 2026 ජනවාරි මස 07 වැනි දින දක්වා නවක විද්යාර්ථීන්ට මානවශාස්ත්ර හා සමාජීයවිද්යා පීඨය මගින් සංවිධානය කරන දැනුම්වත් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහන් සඳහා සම්බන්ධවීමට අවස්ථාව හිමිවන අතර මේ සඳහා නවක විද්යාර්ථීන්ගේ සහභාගීත්වය අනිවාර්ය වේ. එම කාල පරිච්ඡේදය තුළදීද නවක විද්යාර්ථීන්ට අදාළ සියලු නිවේදන සහ මාර්ගෝපදේශ පෙර දැක්වූ වෙබ් අඩවිය ඔස්සේ ලබාදෙනු ඇත.

The academic year 2024/25 of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura commences on January 5, 2026.
The orientation program for new first-year students will be held in two phases, from December 26, 2025, to January 7, 2026.
The first phase will be held online from December 26 to 31, 2025. During this period, students can access the “Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences – Online Orientation 2026” website to obtain information about the university, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, departments, courses, and other relevant details. All announcements and guidelines for new students will be provided through this website, and students are advised to carefully refer to this information.
The second phase of the orientation program will commence with the official orientation ceremony on January 1, 2026, which will be held at the Bandaranayake Hall on the university premises. From this day until January 7, 2025, new students will participate in awareness programs organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Attendance for these sessions is mandatory. All relevant announcements and instructions during this period will also be provided through the aforementioned website.
