FHSS Launches Publication Grant to Support Open-Access Publications
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is pleased to announce the launch of a new Publication Grant Scheme designed to encourage and support FHSS academics in publishing their research in reputable open-access indexed journals. This initiative underscores the faculty’s commitment to advancing its research profile and enhancing its scholarly contributions to both national and international academic communities
The grant will operate on a competitive, first-come, first-served basis. Only articles published between
1st December 2025 and 30th November 2026 will be considered for reimbursement. To ensure equitable distribution of funds and broaden access for more academics, the maximum reimbursement per article is USD 1,000.
Application Requirements
Interested faculty members may apply for reimbursement by submitting the following documents:
- A duly completed application form
- Original payment receipts/slips
- Proof of the journal’s indexing service
- A copy of the published paper, meeting the approved general criteria listed in the application form
All faculty members are encouraged to make use of this opportunity and contribute to the growing body of impactful scholarly work emerging from FHSS.
