Workshop on Best Practices in Educational Administration and Management for the Academic and Non-Academic Staff of the Faculty of Indigenous Social Sciences and Management Studies, Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine

A workshop on Best Practices in Educational Administration and Management was held on the 30th of    May at the Faculty Boardroom of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura for the Academic and Non-Academic Staff of the Faculty of Indigenous Social Sciences and Management Studies, Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine. The event involved the active participation of several esteemed individuals, including Dr. Kamalika Jayathilaka, the Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Social Sciences and Management Studies. Furthermore, Ms. P.D.V.K. Wickramasinghe, the Head of the Department of Indigenous Social Sciences, Mr. Sisitha Rajapaksha, the Head of the Department of Management Studies, and Ms. Waruni Kandamby, the Head of the Department of Information Technology, were also in attendance. Moreover, the event garnered the presence of lecturers from the Faculty of Indigenous Social Sciences and Management Studies, as well as Mr. Dhammika Eldeniya, the Assistant Registrar of the aforementioned faculty. This workshop which was organized under the guidance of the Dean of the faculty, Professor Shirantha Heenkenda. As the resource person of the workshop, his talk and the discussion were centered around themes relevant to Leadership skills for Future Educational Administrators, Effective Communication and Collaboration in Educational Settings, Technology Integration in Educational Administration, Trends and Innovations in Educational Administration, Student Affairs and Campus Life and Professional Development and Career Pathways.
