The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences proudly reaches another breakthrough moment with the opening of the Sri Sumangala Auditorium and the Entrepreneurial Theatre that was formerly known as the Sumangala Reading Hall of the Faculty. To mark the beginning of a new chapter, an opening ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 17th February 2022 at the auspicious time of 8.30 AM.
Intending to provide ample space for the development and demonstration of aesthetic talents, this modern auditorium and Entrepreneurial Theatre are also built to function as a hub for the students to generate their creative ideas of entrepreneurship. Additionally, the auditorium will create a platform for conducting research conferences.
With financial aid from the faculty development fund and the AHEAD grant, the refurbishment project came to a successful conclusion resulting in a brand new addition to the facilities provided by the faculty.
