Dengue control programme was conducted on 23rd June, aiming to clean possible environment conditions for dengue mosquito growth, around the Sumangala Building and the Cultural Center under the Guidance Dr. Alexander Kapukotuwa, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, and the Secretary of the SSDU . Students who represents both SSDU and the Department actively engaged in cleaning the University premises throughout the day.
