An awareness session on the DAAD scholarship program was held on the 24th of September 2020 for the internal academic staff who aspire to pursue their higher studies abroad.
The session was conducted by Mr.Nadeesha Palliyaguru, DAAD representative of the Embassy of Germany in Sri Lanka who presented a range of possibilities to enroll in a scholarship program. Participants of the program got an opportunity to clarify many of their questions regarding the registration process. They also learned about what it is like to study in Germany during the Q&A session.
DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) is a German Academic Exchange Service that focuses on promoting the academic exchange of scholars between Sri Lanka and Germany. Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the DAAD regional office located in New Delhi, Mr.Palliyaguru also highlighted the importance of the contribution to strengthen the international exchange between Germany and Sri Lanka.
