The Department of Social Statistics offers three honors degree programs in Social Statistics, Business Statistics and Information Technology. It has a proud history of teaching, research, and consulting over almost three decades. The department is currently seeking a suitable qualified candidate for the post of Temporary Computer Instructor. The period of this position is 12 months, but it is extendable.
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Preparing tutorials and conducting tutorial sessions. Assisting lectures and practical sessions. Supporting students on subject-specific matters. Giving support on grading assignments and monitoring students academic performance. Contributing to relevant curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of department.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong knowledge and expertise in Data Science would be an added advantage. Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge.
