Dr. Gamini Ranasinghe, Senior Lecturer attached to the Department of History and Archaeology in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was given an opportunity to conduct a guest lecture on “Ancient Irrigation System and Myths in Sri Lanka” at the Deccan College, Pune India on 27th August 2018, organized by the Department of AICH and Archeology of the Deccan College, Pune India. He was invited to deliver aforesaid lecture while his field visit to India with a group of Undergraduates from the Department of History and Archeology of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
