Ceremony of Assigning of 2023/1 & 2023/7 Batches of JICA Volunteers

Ceremony of Assigning of 2023/1 & 2023/7 Batches of JICA volunteers was held on 20th September 2023 at the Department of External Resources, Secretariat Building, Colombo 1. Among the 7 volunteers, Ms. Sakiko Honda was officially assigned to the Department of Languages, Cultural Studies and Performing Arts of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She will be engaged in Japanese language education and promoting intercultural understanding for two years and we hope her service would be a significant milestone to Japanese education in our university. It undoubtedly will be a valuable experience for our students. We warmly welcome her to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
