Gold Medals

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is awarding gold medals to the students who obtain the highest grades in examinations.

The students represent departments/different fields of studies and they are awarded gold medals under the following categories.

Faculty Medal
Sri Soratha Gold Medal of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

This is awarded to the most outstanding student who obtained First Class or second class (upper division) with the highest Grade Point Average in any Honours degree offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The faculty graduates who were awarded the gold medals at the university convocation in previous years
