Fourth-year students of the Department of Social Statistics organized a field survey in the Welimada area on the 1st and 2nd of April 2023. This survey aimed to study the demand and supply dynamics of the small and medium scaled horticulture farmers in a particular area. The survey, in relation to the Data Analysis course unit, was helping students to gain a real-world understanding of the collection of primary data in the field. Students also visited Bomburu Ella and Horton Plains after completing the field survey successfully.
