Third-year students of the Department of Social Statistics organized a field survey in the Kalawewa area on the 6th and 7th of April 2023. This survey aimed to study the problems faced by farmers who are engaging in agriculture in the respective area. The survey, in relation to the Sample Survey Techniques course unit, was helping students to gain a real-world understanding of the collection of primary data in the field. Students also visited Awukana Statue and Thanthirimale after completing the field survey successfully.
