Under the Sample Survey Techniques course unit, third-year students of the DSS organized a field survey from and 26th – 28th of January 2024 on the drinking water consumption and associated problems of the people in Matale area. The survey was helpful for students to gain a real-world understanding of the conduction of a sample survey in the field. Students also visited Ambuluwawa, Riverstone and Dambulla during the visit.
