The Department of Social Statistics organized a Guest Talk on National Index Numbers Construction and Applications on the 3rd of May, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the H2, 2nd Floor, Sri Sumangala Mansion. This program was guided by Senior Lecturer Mr. Lasanatha Nawarathna in relation to the course unit, Index Numbers for Social Sciences. Dr. (Ms.) Nirosha Dissanayake, Director (Statistics) – Prices and Wages Division from the Department of Census and Statistics delivered the guest talk. Her knowledge and experience were very useful to students for inspiring the applications of the curriculum that they follow.
