In relation to the Design and Analysis of Experiments course unit, fourth-year undergraduates of the department visited Field Crops Research and Development Institute (FCRDI) at Mahailluppallama on the 14th and 15th of February, 2023. During the visit, undergraduates were able to gain an understanding of conducting agricultural experiments by applying various statistical designs such as CRD, RBD, and Split-plot designs. The institutional visit was organized under the guidance of Senior Lecturer Mr. Lasantha Nawarathna and a group of academic staff members, nonacademic staff members, and undergraduates joined the visit.
