Visit to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka
The second-year undergraduates of the B.A. (Hons.) Economics and B.A. (Hons.) Financial Economics programs visited the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) on March 27, 2025.
A lecture titled “The Objectives and Functions of the CBSL, Monetary Policy in Sri Lanka, and Its Impact on the Sri Lankan Economy” was delivered by Dr. Antonette Fernando from the CBSL. Additionally, an information session on pyramid schemes was conducted by the Financial Consumer Relations Department of the CBSL.
Following the sessions, the students visited the Economic History Museum of the Central Bank.
