“The online debate for 3rd-year students of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice was held on 8th May 2021 at 8.00 a.m. onwards via Teams. The debate was organized under the course unit 3103.3 – Criminal Investigation. 18 teams with 90 students (both Sinhala Medium and English medium) took part in the event.”
Due to the prevailing situation, it was decided to hold the Third Year Criminal Investigations Debate Tournament online which was to be held as a part of a continuous assessment. Random groups were created via LMS, and names of the famous intelligence services were given as team names. Accordingly, Both Sinhala medium and English medium competitions were held online on 08th May 2021. All the students followed the health and safety rules and regulations with great enthusiasm and ended the debate very successfully from home. Some of the best debaters who competed stood out in the tournament were highlighted.
