Overview of the project

The concept of ‘Arthadaara’ is an economic magazine designed to showcase the creative and analytical writings of economic students. It serves as a platform for students to express their perspectives on economic theories, policies and real-world economics issues through research articles, opinion pieces and innovative discussions. There are some key features of ‘Arthadhaara’ magazine.

It has Student-Driven Content which means the magazine is primarily written by students from the economics department, allowing them to develop their knowledge and creative writing skills and articles focus on various current economic topics.

The magazine focuses on creative expressions which means, besides traditional economic analysis, students may include economic poetry, short essays, infographics and interview with experts. Furthermore, this project gives academic and practical balance, the content bridges the gap between academic theories and real-world applications, making it relevant for both students and professionals.

By fostering intellectual curiosity, encouraging creative expression, and bridging the gap between theory and practice, it empowers students to think critically and contribute meaningfully to the evolving world of economics.

Scope and Objectives

The ‘Arthadaara’ economics magazine aims to empower students by enhancing their understanding of Economics, fostering analytical thinking and creative thinking about the economic challenges. Inspired by the principles of economic literacy and personal growth, Arthadhaara is committed to.

  • Enhancing Economic knowledge; Providing well-researched, student-friendly content on economic theories, financial trends and market dynamics. Offering insights into both national and global economic issues to bridge the gap between academic and practical application.
  • Developing critical thinking and decision-making skills; Encouraging readers to analyze economic policies, market behaviors and financial strategies with a critical perspective.
  • Fostering Leadership and Communication in Economics; Promoting leadership among young students by featuring interviews, opinion pieces and success stories.
  • Encouraging Financial Literacy and Career Development; Equipping students with essential financial skills such as budgeting and risk management. Providing guidance to develop economic writing skills and analytical skills.
  • Providing Engaging and Interactive Learning Materials; Publishing engaging articles, infographics and quizzes to make economic concepts more relatable and enjoyable.

Through these objectives, Arthadhaara aspires to create a well-rounded learning platform that nurtures informed, socially responsible and financially empowered  individuals, ensuring a positive impact on both personal and societal conomics-being.

Overview of the Magazine

This magazine is a magazine composed of the works of the students of the Department of Economics. This magazine is planned to be launched as an e-magazine and is between 40-50 pages in size. For this, only works written under current economic topics are accepted and works are accepted under
four main categories. They are:
          i.   Analytical articles
          ii.  Poetry
          iii. Short stories
          iv. Cartoons

It is also planned to include economic facts necessary for the additional knowledge in the magazine. This magazine is being launched with the
aim of updating the economics knowledge of the students of the department and developing their creativity.
