Third-year undergraduates from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science of the University of Colombo, handed over 06 audio books to the ‘ABLE’ online library of the FHSS on 02nd May 2023, completed as a continuous assessment. Guidance and instructions were given by Prof. S. S. Nishantha Perera, Head of the Department, Dr. G. N. Karunathunge, Course Coordinator, Community Service and Dr. Anuradha Mahasinghe, Academic Advisor of the Project of the Department of Mathematics.
This community service is done by the Mathematics (Honors) Degree Third year students as an Assignment. Their aim was to prepare audio books to make a service to those who have faced difficulties in reading books. Team members were W. Dilmi Imesha Karunarathne, Sammanie Yashasvie Munasinghe, Udani Anupama Hettiarachchi, R. P. Leema Kurukulasooriya, K.P. Iman Vimantha Karunanayake, A.G. Aruna Sachith Mihiran Weragoda, K.A. Tiran Bashitha, H.M. Yasas Deelaka Herath, Niranjan Rajendran and Danshikka Sasivannan.
