Master of Economics program is aimed at providing a sound theoretical and practical knowledge with the analytical skills in Economics. This academic course targets students with from different backgrounds with basic or intermediate knowledge of Economics but who wish to deepen their conceptual and analytical capabilities to meet professional demands.
Program Learning Outcomes
A graduate of the Master of Development Economics will be able to
- PLO 01. demonstrate knowledge and understanding of economic concepts, principles and theories
- PLO 02. acquaint with quantitative and qualitative methods, computing techniques and to apply them in analyzing economic problems
- PLO 03. display the ability to use of economic data, and application of economic theories, models and techniques to interpret and assess phenomena and dynamics of economic variables
- PLO 04. peruse lifelong learning and professional development
OBJECTIVES OF THE DEGREE PROGRAM
- to provide theoretical and analytical knowledge required to train as an Economist.
- to enroll foreign students for the Master of Economics Degree.
- to increase the links with public and private sector experts and the researchers from foreign universities.

Eligibility Requirements and Criteria for Enrolment
- Bachelor’s degree including 30 credits in the relevant subject area OR
- with prior learning/work experience equivalent to 30 credits in the relevant subject area OR
- Completion of NVQ level 7, as determined by the academic authority of HEI, may be considered
