The Economics Association of the Department of Economics hosted ECONOCALSH’23 on February 16, 2023, on the university grounds. Cricket matches between student groups were played as part of the event. Academic staff members participated in teams as well. The award ceremony for winning teams was graced by Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Prof. Gamini Weerasinghe, Head of the Department of Economics.
