Undergraduates Visited Industry on Management Information Systems

As part of our Management Information System (MIS) course unit, our undergraduate students from the Department of Social Statistics had the opportunity to embark on an industry visit to six esteemed companies in Sri Lanka! Under the guidance of our course coordinator, Ms. Sandamali Perera, our students gained valuable insights into the practical applications of MIS in various industries. Some the companies that graciously hosted us were Hemas Consumer Brands, Trident Corporation Company, and American Water Company.

This industry visit was an invaluable experience for our students, providing them with a deeper understanding of how MIS is applied in real-world scenarios. We extend our gratitude to the companies that hosted us and to Ms. Sandamali Perera for her tireless efforts in organizing this event.
