DSS Undergraduates Visited the Industry under Management Information Systems

As part of Management Information System (MIS) course unit, a group of undergraduate students from the Department of Social Statistics had the opportunity to embark on an industry visit to six esteemed companies in Sri Lanka! Under the guidance of course coordinator, Ms. Sandamali Perera, students gained valuable insights into the practical applications of MIS in various industries. Some the companies that graciously hosted us were Hemas Consumer Brands, Trident Corporation Company, and American Water Company. This industry visit was an invaluable experience for students, providing them with a deeper understanding of how MIS is applied in real-world scenarios.
