The Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, established in 2020, is dedicated to advancing education, knowledge, and discovery in the realm of ICT. Our mission is to empower students and faculty with essential and transformative technologies that support the University’s commitment to teaching, learning, and research. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that integrates theoretical foundations with practical applications, preparing students for the dynamic field of ICT. Our programs encompass a wide range of topics, including:

The main degree program offered by the department is Bachelor of Science Honours in Information Technology [BSc (Hons) in IT].
