Vidumaga Arunalu which is an annual social service project organized by the students of the Department of Social Statistics of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was conducted on 30th December 2019 at B/Rahupola Vidyalaya, Lunuwatta, Welimada. This project aims to develop rural schools with low facilities and help students to climb up the social ladder despite their social status. This year, the association was successfully able to donate a library with multifaceted books, classroom materials packs, sports accessories to the school. Ultimately, this project was helping students to improve their socio-emotional skills and other soft skills.
