The Inauguration of Sociology Diploma Course was introduced first time in Sri Lankan university system was held at Prof. Nandasena Rathnapala Hall, Sociology Department on 7th January 2017. The meeting was headed by Dr. D. P. S. Chandrakumara, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
