The first ever SSL Origin Mixing console in Sri Lanka at the Department of Music & Creative Technology – University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The first ever SSL Origin Mixing console with 32 channels, is now in Sri Lanka, for the Research Innovation and Commercialization (RIC) project (round 2) in the Department of Music & Creative Technology, USJP, under the Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development Operation (AHEAD), headed by Prof. Dharshan Pradeep Ratnayake (Head – Department of Music and Creative Technology) – Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
This is funded under the RIC STEM/HEMS projects of the AHEAD operation for Research and Innovation Commercialization developed and implemented for universities undertaking innovation activities of direct relevance for industrial and service sector development. Mike Audio (Pvt) Ltd – Yamaha Sri Lanka (M.L.C. Caderamanpulle Pvt Ltd) is part of this huge project toward the successful research outcome of the Project. And from the departmental end, the constant help of the Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development Operation (AHEAD), Operations Technical Secretariat (OTS) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, University Finance and the Research Team, is highly appreciated for this successful result of getting down this console.
