The department of Music & Creative Technology has newly introduced the degree program – Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Creative Music Technology and Production for the academic year 2021/2022 based on the G.C.E.(A/L) Examination 2021.
This is the first ever Music degree program related to the subject of Music Technology and Production, starting with a 50 suggested number of entries from a special window for the Arts stream, in the Sri Lankan university system.
This opportunity provides an affordable point of entry for both trained and non-trained music students to express their creativity of musical sensibilities by manipulating Computer-based tools. All candidates who are capable and interested in Creative Music Technology and Production, who passed with a minimum of three general (S) passes from any subject stream in the AL Examination – 2021, would be able to apply to this degree program.
