A Guest Talk on Census Method of Data Collection Was Succesfully Conducted in Collaboration with Department of Census and Statistics

The Department of Social Statistics orgranized a Guest Talk on Census Method of Data Collection under the course unit Sample Survey Techniques. As the resource person, Dr. (Ms.) Chandani Wijebandara, Director (Statistics) – Population Census and Demography Division of the Department of Census and Statistics joined. Her expertise indeed have contributed in expanding the practical knowledge of the undergraduates. On behalf of the DSS, the organizing team thanks our resource person for contributing the success of the event. The DSS wishes to continue the academia-industry linkeage through these events while promoting the learning outside the typical lecture rooms.
