Celebration of English Language Learning (CELL 2025)

The Department of English Language Teaching of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura proudly presented CELL 2025 – Celebration of English Language Learning on 31st July 2025, marking a significant milestone in promoting English language learning across the whole university.

The event was organized by the Department of English Language Teaching (DELT) in collaboration with all ten faculties of the university, bringing together a diverse range of students and academic staff to celebrate the role of English in university education and professional growth.

The event was graced by the Vice-Chancellor and the Deans of all faculties, reflecting the strong efforts of the university in enhancing the English language competency among the students. The program featured a variety of engaging activities and entertainment items showing the collaboration of the students and the importance of English language learning in creating a vibrant academic community at the university.
