Call for Papers – Journal of Intangible Cultural Heritage (JICH) 2025, Volume 4, Issue I & II

The Journal of Intangible Cultural Heritage (JICH) is now accepting submissions for its 2025 editions. As a peer-reviewed, open-access, biannual journal, JICH is dedicated to publishing original research in the field of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH).

Scope & Themes

We invite original research articles, review articles, and book reviews in Sinhala, Tamil, or English under the five domains outlined by UNESCO’s 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage:

 Oral traditions and expressions
 Performing arts
 Social practices, rituals, and festive events
 Knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe
 Traditional craftsmanship
