The integrity of the Rajagala Monastic Complex is retained by means of the clearly defined boundaries encompassing the elements that contribute to the value, which are guaranteed maintenance and protected by means of a comprehensive management plan. The valuesare expressed through the elements and components related to Monastic Planning and architecture that are necessary to express the Values of the property.
The physical fabric of these elements is in fair condition and has been preserved to express the value. The boundaries which define the property as an archaeological reserve in accordance with the Antiquities Ordinance ensure the complete representation of all features and convey the totality of the Values.
