The Inaugural of the Inter Faculty & Inter Department Debating Championship 2016 ,organized by the Soft Skill Development unite of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was held 17th November 2016 at Webber Hall in the Faculty of Management Studies & Commerce.
Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Dr. Anura Kumara, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies & Commerce and Mrs. Thushari Welagedara, Director Of SLBC were participated to the inaugural ceremony as Chief Guests.
Following the inauguration, 1st round of the inter department debate competitions was started with the participation of students who represented their departments in both Sinhala and English medium.
