A partnership awareness program was conducted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in collaboration with the American Centre of American Embassy Sri Lanka to promote and upgrading their academic facilities and upcoming academic awareness opportunities for students and academic staff of the faculty. The Program was held on 18th December 2019 at the Faculty Board Room.
The program was presided by the guest lecturer; Mr. Ashan Gunathilake; the Public Engagement Officer of the American Center, American Embassy Sri Lanka. He briefly explained about existing opportunities for both potential academics and students. In addition, the event was attended by prof. Shirantha Heenkenda; Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and academic members of the FHSS.
