The launching ceremony of the Pali Atuwawa titled “Dasabhodhisaththupaththikatha Attakatha” by Ven. Dr. Madagampitiye Wijithadgamma, Head of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies was held on 19th June 2017 at 2. 30 pm at Sumangala Reading Hall. The ceremony was graced by the Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Most Venerable Prof. Bellanwila Wimalarathana Thero, Ven. Dr. Iththapane Dhammalankara, Educationalist; Ven. Sri Dhammadassi, Ven. Prof. Kotapitiye Sri Rahula, Former Vice Chancellor of the Bhikshu University; Ven. Prof. Kanthegoda Saddharathana, Vice chancellor of the Biuddhist and Pli University; Ven. Prof. Gallaalle Sumanasiri, Ven. Prof. N. Gnanarathana. Also Vice chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura; Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Dr. D. P. S. Chandrakumara, Prof. Wimal G. Balagalla, Prof. Oliver Abhenayaka, Prof. Rathna Wijethunga, Prof. Sumanapala Galmangoda participated to the lunching ceremony of the Pali Atuwawa.
