A team of researchers from the Department of Anthropology of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura started their explorations to find out the truth behind the recently emerged controversy on the Nittawo; who are said to be a dwarfish form of human type creatures. This exploration was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Yasanjalie Jayathilake, Head of the Department of Anthropology and Dr. Sepala Samarasekara, Senior Lecturer in the respective Department.
