This year, ICICH will be held under the theme \u201cBridging the Past and Future: The Role of Intangible Heritage in a Changing World,\u201d which explores how cultural heritage can adapt to societal changes while retaining its authenticity jointly organized by the Department of Anthropology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the SAARC Cultural Center.<\/p>\n<p>The conference invites research contributions from diverse fields, including but not limited to Oral Traditions and Expressions, Performing Arts, Social Practices, Rituals and Festive Events, Traditional Craftsmanship, Traditional Food and Agriculture, Traditional Medicine, and Traditional Technologies.This interdisciplinary platform seeks to foster dialogue, exchange ideas, and enhance collective efforts to explore how intangible cultural heritage can adapt to societal changes while retaining its authenticity.
