Degree, packaged with Geographic Information (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) and related the latest Geospatial technologies. It is particularly suitable if you seek to obtain a broad overview of the subject, with scope for specialization and carrier development in Geoinformatics.<\/p><p><strong>Lectures and Practical Classes\u00a0<\/strong>are to be conducted on<strong>\u00a0Saturdays and Sundays<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Duration:\u00a0<\/strong>02 years<br \/><strong>Medium:\u00a0<\/strong>English<br \/><strong>Course Fee:\u00a0<\/strong>Rs.200, 000\/= (<strong>The course fee has to be paid in two installments, Rs.100,000<\/strong><strong>\/=<\/strong><strong>\u00a0at the registration and the balance<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Rs.100,000<\/strong><strong>\/=<\/strong><strong>\u00a0within six months from the registration<\/strong>)<\/p><p>In addition to the above cost, a \u201cTechnological Tour\u201d to Bangkok will be organized by the University as partial fulfillment of the M.Sc. Degree. The tour costs Rs.75,000\/= have to be borne by\u00a0<u>either<\/u>\u00a0the respective institution\u00a0<u>or<\/u>\u00a0the student.<\/p><p><strong>Eligibility: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>A Degree from a Recognized University<\/p><p><strong><u>Or<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Special Enrollment:\u00a0<\/strong>Officers in the rank of Captain and above in the Sri Lanka (SL) Army or the Equivalent ranks in the SL Navy and SL Air Force and Officers in the rank of Inspector and above in the SL Police, Who needs Professional training on the Subject area of GIS to effectively conduct specific tasks in their jobs.
