Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for Diploma in English (Intake 04) offered by the Department of English Language Teaching (DELT) of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Lectures and practical sessions will be conducted on
Sundays from 8 am to 3.30 pm
Duration: One year
Course Fee: Rs.40,000/-(Full payment must be paid at the time of the registration)
Eligibility:
Pass inGeneral English at G.C.E. (A/L)
OR Credit pass in English at G.C.E.( O/L)
OR successful completion of a Certificate Course in English at a recognized institution
OR any other professional or academic qualification acceptable to the university.
Walk-in-interview: 10th June (Sunday) 2018
Time: 9.00 a .m. – 12 noon
Venue: Department of English Language Teaching
Commencement of the Course: Date will be notified at the Interview

Deposit Slip for an application fee of Rs.500/=. paid to the account No. 013010001330 at any branch of the People’s Bank.
A self-addressed 9” X 4” size stamped envelope.
Relevant Certificates.
A short foreign/local field trip is included. The cost of the tour has to be borne either by the sponsoring institution or the student.
