Undergraduates of the Dept. of Archaeology Participates in a Training Program in India

According to the MOU signed between the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Deccan College, in Pune, India, a group of undergraduates and academic staff members of the Department of History and Archaeology in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will be participating in an archaeological training program in India from 16th  to 30th September 2018. In 2016 and 2017 also two groups of undergraduates successfully completed this training program.

On behalf of Prof. Sampath Amratunge, vice chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Rev. Amila Thero, Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and Archaeology, conferred air tickets to undergraduates who have been selected to the training programme, on 11th September 2018. Prof. K. M. Alexandar, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology and Dr. Gamini Ranasingha Senior Lecturer in the Department also participated in the event.
