“Traditional Sri Lankan Food, Exhibition and Fair” organized by Anthropological Society

Exhibition was organized by the Anthropological Society of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology in order to aware University Students about rich tradition that we once had in our food practices. Under the guidance of Prof. Yasanjalie Jayathilake exhibition was held on 16th and 17th November with the participation of the Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Dean Faculty of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. D. P. S Chandrakumara, Dean Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce Dr. Anura Kumara and Dean Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Sudantha Liyanage.

On the first day of the exhibition Guest Lecture was conducted on Sustainable Solution for a Healthy Nation by Doctor K. S. Dasanayake, Member of Helasuwaya, Coordinator, Presidential Task Force of National food production.
