The role expected from host organizations or beneficiaries

The Faculty is grateful to the host organizations for the provision of placements in their organizations. In order to achieve the intended aim of the program, the organizations are expected to provide the following for the interns:

  • Orientation to the organization and the relevant activities
  • Details of work rules and procedures, including time and attendance policies
  • Limits related to accessing resources such as computers, data systems, etc.
  • Opportunities for communication to discuss progress on both parties
  • Guidance, feedback and assessment of the work of interns to fulfill the requirements of the University

Remuneration

Provision of lunch and travel expenses for interns is most welcome since they have to spend some additional amount of money when they are outside the university. However, this depends on the terms and conditions provided by employers.
